After several tropical islands, Africa and Himalayas, Far Cry is taking us to prehistoric hunt for mammoths – in fact, there is the premiere trailer for Far Cry Primal announced by Ubisoft today, the latest sequel to the popular FPS series, whose story takes place 10,000 years BC.
Primal will get the players back in Stone Age and offer them an open world in which they will take a role of Takkar, “an experienced hunter and last surviving member of his hunting group”.
As in several previous sequels of the series, in Primal there will be possibility of hunting different animals (this time there will be, among others, mammoths and saber-tooth tigers), and making different tools and weapons from their remains. Except that, you will have to “tame” the fire, hunt animals to get to the food, and in the process you will fight dangerous predators and other tribes that attack your territory.
Far Cry Primal is coming on PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on 23rd February, while the PC version is expected to come out some time in March 2016.
